What a fantastic holiday!!!
Staying at the Kovacs Apartments was perfect. Judit and Laci were the most wonderful hosts and the apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay.
The location of the Kovacs Apartments made it easy to explore the regions from Lake Balaton to Hévíz to Keszthely and the most beautiful Festetics Palace.
The hiking in the surrounding area allows for great sightseeing and the towns around Lake Balaton so beautiful and full of history, you can spend all day exploring.
We stayed a week and wish we had longer.
We had a wonderful relaxing fortnight at the Kovacs apartment. The apartment itself was clean, well provided and the Kovacs family friendly and helpful. The apartment’s closeness to the fabulous Balaton was excellent (10 minutes walk). The Balaton is a large lake with warm fresh water, ideal for swimming and relaxing. We visited Heviz with its superb thermal spa twice and also a number of towns around the lake. There are excellent restaurants close to the apartment. Altogether it was a most enjoyable holiday.
We had a fabulous week in Hungary (end of April).
The family Kovacs made everything very easy, from booking to leaving Hungary. Mr Kovac collected us from the station and gave us a quick guided tour of Gyenesdias, we were able to hire 2 mountain bikes which we had great fun on.
Accomodation is ideally situated to visit the local areas like Heviz and its thermal spas, Tapolca with its undergound cave, walking distance from the lake.
Accomodation was very clean, everything provided for your needs including information in files of the surrounding area and things of interest.
Would definately recommend.
